Our Story
A Tale of Two Recovering Addicts
Founders Jeremy (L) and Nathan (R) were hanging out one night, and while Jeremy was in the middle of an epic game of Fortnite, he looked over at Nate and blurted out unprompted:
“Dude, I’m proudly addicted to this game.”
In that exact moment, the phrase just hung in the air. We both looked at each other and realized: Proudly Addicted, that’s our brand.
Who We Are
See, both of us are in recovery. We know the negative, destructive side of addiction firsthand. But that night, we realized the intense drive and obsession behind it doesn’t have to be a bad thing. It just needs to be redirected.
Jeremy — “Stoned was my identity.”
27 years of wake-and-bake. Believing high Jeremy was accepted Jeremy. Multiple intense panic attacks that changed everything.
Recovery journey started in January of 2023.

Nate — “It’s just one drink.”
Nightly pours that became weekend blackouts. One blackout too many — probation, five-figure fees, and a reality check that couldn’t be ignored.

Why This Brand Exists
We started Proudly Addicted to flip the script on addiction. It doesn’t only have to be associated with things that tear your life down. It can be part of positive, healthy things. We are reclaiming that unstoppable human energy and pouring 100% of it into growth, community, and personal passions.
